Attention all screeners and club vision coordinators!
On January 18 we will have our yearly Unifour Childrens Sight training session in which we will be reviewing all aspects of setting up and conducting a children's vision screening event. We will also be covering the DSP insurance program and how you can easily acquire a COI for your event which in some cases is required by the facility you are screening at.
If you or your guest Lion is not already a Certified Screener through the Lions International Kidsight we suggest you take the online course before attending and we will be able to review your test answers at the training session before you submit them
Also, we will be reviewing the financial assistance programs we have instituted to replace the now paused VSP program. Currently our UCS program has the only existing financial aid programs as NCLF has not come forward with any program to assist the clubs.
Below is the agenda and we encourage you to attend this training session to learn about new projects on the horizon, our financial status, the ease of conducting a vision screening and how you can use it to not only benefit our community but possibly increase interest for new club members.
We have booked the training room till 2:00pm which may be longer than needed but we want to make sure if you have questions we will have time to answer them completely.
